Hello!
My Laptop: Dell G15 5510
External Monitor: BenQ Zowie XL2411 144hz

I have a High-Speed HDMI Cable and I connected it to the screen but I can't figure out how to change the refresh rate, I really need help with that if you please. Thank you!

so they say hdmi/display port is hooked to nvidia gpu, so change refresh rate in nvidia control panel
I am not seeing anything above 60Hz. I also tried disabling the Intel UHD Graphics and it only makes the benQ monitor use it's native resolution and not other options for the refresh rate

I can only change it to 120hz when I go under the PC section in "Change Resolution" in Nvidia Control Panel and choose 1440x900, but the problem is that this is not the native resolution.

Did you check with Dell support to make sure the laptop output port can handle higher refresh rates? Check for newer BIOS and video drivers from the support site?

I checked with like 3 agents and they tell me that I have joined an incorrect queue which I don't know what is that. My bios is up to date and the video drivers are up to date from the GeForce Experience app

The HDMI port on that monitor only supports 1080p@60Hz. The Dual link DVI port is the only port that supports 1080p@144Hz on your monitor.
You meant that the BenQ Zowie can only work at 144hz with a DVI port? I was using the same monitor on my PC with a Display Port and it worked fine but unfortunately the Dell doesn't have a Display Port

The XL2411 only has DL DVI, HDMI and VGA and the DVI port is the only one that supports 1080p@144Hz.

The XL2411P that has Displayport, DL DVI(both support 144hz) and HDMI and it is still limited to 1080@60Hz.

Both are older models that were released before HDMI was used for higher refresh rates.(HDMI for high refresh rates still isn't very common).

Darn. So I gotta use the port which has a Type-C DisplayPort then because my laptop has a Type-C DisplayPort Alt Mode, or maybe some kind of adapter might do the trick?

Should be fine then. See logo diagram here;

Should have D symbol next to usbc port. Not always though.

Useful tool, explaining all sorts regarding ports, cables and adapters.

Mine has lightning above it. According to the link you sent, it is a DisplayPort Alt Mode.
