Hi i have a OMEN by HP Laptop PC - 15-ax003ng (ENERGY STAR) (product name: W6Z67EA#ABD) with the specs below.

I want to buy a monitor since my monitor is just 15,6" and i cant see much details in games. I researched a bit about connecting monitors to laptops and find a monitor that can work with my laptop. I found the Viewsonic VX2758-C-MHD that can perform 144hz (specs here) with support of HDMI v2.0 -My laptop supports HDMI v2.0 says here in the 7. page first column here (USER GUIDE FROM HP WEBSITE; better you can check it too) and my GPU (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M) should be supporting 144hz , i saw once in NVIDIA Webstite but cannot find the link agani-

I do experienced FPS drops in some games before but after i bought a laptop cooler and transfer the game i play to SSD from HDD- it seems to be working better.

So i just wanna know in the first place if i will be able to see 144fps-hz if i connect it with HDMI 2:0 cable. After all that; Will gaming with a monitor like that drop my FPS too low and so i wont be able to see the 144hz in monitor and force the PC to work so hard, will it be a bust, What do you guys think? The first question is more important tho, will that work at all?
