This is my situation. I just bought a laptop (Asus GL702ZC) and want to connect it to my 144hz monitor (Acer GN246HL). I noticed I would have to buy an active converter (mini DP to DVI) for it to work so I did some research and I found this:

My question is: Would this converter be sufficient for 1080p 144hz?
