Im swapping my old board for a b450, i'm going to install windows in an SSD.
I just want to ask a few questions just to makes sure.

Will I lose data, or be asked to format my old hard drives when I hook them up in my new board? I want to keep all my data as is.

Will the old files of windows in my hard drive give me any issues in the future once the new install is in my SSD?

Solution
First, if you are installing the OS on the new SSD, you disconnect all other drives during this.
Connect them after the OS is installed on the SSD.

Second, for your "data"...your personal files will be there. Might be a pain accessing but they will be there.
Any applications that live on the old drive are null and void.

Will the hard drives run normally or just a bit slower?
