So I need to use my old IDE HDD on my new config and my mb doesnt have IDE connectors only sata so I am trying to use converters/adapters

and

but in bios there is no way i can get my mbo to read my HDD, same thing in windows(10) i cannot find it . I hear that HDD is working so it has power but cannot load it and read it,i have 2 old HDD and neither works, what to do?
Also im waiting for new adapter which converts IDE to USB but if that still doesnt work what can i do?
Thx!

Solution
No i didnt try on other pc. I am only trying on my pc.
These connectors usually are one way only and it's pretty tough to tell which way they are since the chinese just string endless search words together....
You probably got an from sata disk to ide mobo adaptor.
You should look for adaptors with a switch between the two modes to avoid such issues.
