Connecting PC to old Monitor

I have my new PC.
The GTX 660 inside has 2 HDMI port, 1 DisplayPort, and 2 DVI ports.
The Monitor I need to connect to has 1 VGA port, 1 HDMI port and some other ports that aren't relevant.

I want to connect my PC via DVI but the monitor doesn't support it. Whenever I try HDMI to HDMI the monitor says, "Not Supported". My Only the HDMI ports are compatible but i want to connect my PC without it as the Not Supported screen keeps popping up(It won't even show any bit of Windows). What's my solution to connecting the PC and the old Monitor together without HDMI?

Your gpu should have a small bag of spare parts.a sli bridge a molex to six pin power plug and a white dvi to VGA adaptor. You should be able to put the adaptor on the end of your monitor cable and use a dvi port.

Hmm. I did have those parts. However, how do I connect the PC using the DVI to VGA adapter?

The white dvi adaptor has male pins on one side and the two stand off screws point out to your monitor so you can screw the adaptor onto the video card. Then you just plug the VGA cable to the back end of the adaptor.

Ok thanks. Where can I buy a good but cheap VGA cable?

Newegg also call your local shack or best buys they may carry the dvi to hdmi cable in stock.

Ok thanks. Would Amazon be a good place to buy from? I see that eveyrthing cables they have tends to be WAY cheaper than in-store prices like Walmart or Amazon.

Once again, thanks. I do have one slight problem though.. Which VGA cable should I choose? I'm a bit confused on how to pick a VGA cable so maybe you can give me a suggestion?

This one might work on amazon look for 6 foot high speed cables they should be under 10. Look on the back of your monitor see if the hdmi port in standard size or mini.
