Question Connecting powered speakers wirelessly to HDMI

I hope to set up a simple 5.1 home audio system to replace a soundbar/subwoofer from Samsung. I have an HDMI ARC output coming out of the TV along with optical out and coax out. I would like to use my favorite powered speakers with which I have had very good experience, namely the JBL Professional 305P MkII. Unfortunely, these speakers have only xlr and 1/4" trs inputs. Hard wiring is out for a number of reasons.

Does anyone have an idea of how to connect these speakers to a 5.1 audio source wirelessly? I don't mind spending a few bucks. / Thanks / G

The only thing I can think that would work is a wireless HDMI transmitter.

But good ones tend to go for more than "a few bucks." Plus there's the potential issue that since this is for audio only, there'll be lag between what you see and what you hear.

You're gonna run into lag.
