So hey all...

I know you might be thinking this has been asked before but I did not get anywhere my answer...

I own a z170 deluxe board which is told like "oh look it has bluetooth how great..."
But I can't seem to connect my ps3 controller... If I connect it to my pc through usb ports I do see it, but I can't anything with it... Although it did say it was installing drivers when connected.

I see it there but if I go to bluetooth nothing will show up.

I tried the motionjoy stuff but the controller never shows up in the software either...
Any help?
I want to use it to control my pc from my bed.

No matter what you use the Bluetooth will be taken over for that controller(s). I've never done it but when installing it you can select your controllers you want to connect but also try plugging everything in that's Bluetooth and select them as well. See if they work if not uninstall and just check the controllers. Also they say you don't have to the force option for Windows 10 but I had to. Also motion-joy is buggy and need a internet connection at all times but you just need it for the drivers. Better DS3 is an awesome program when it wants to work. My devices kept disappearing on me so I stopped using that and currently use Nefarius's program instead. Here is a link to what rmarier83 was talking about...
You need to install 3rd party drivers, like those from Scarlet Crush. Google SCP drivers, be very attentive on the other requirements you need to install along with it. I recommend using Nefarius's build of this driver as it's easier to install. Also, when you do this, the drivers will take over the Bluetooth for the PS controllers only, so if you have other BT devices you want to use, you'll need another BT adapter.

I looked at videos saying I needed motionjoy and better ds3. They always tell me I need to install the software and then use the programs except for me it already bugs at the first software. It does not see my controller at all (motionjoy)

The solution you are giving me, will it permit me to just use my mobos bluetooth to wirelessly connect my controller?
