Connecting ps3>pc>pc monitor?

Is that even possible? I want to be able to record my gameplay. I have a windows pc monitor, a ps3, and a lenovo windows 8 also an hdmi cable. So is there any way to connect those 3 together? Also I have hdmi input for the pc monitor and hdmi output for pc and ps3.

If you want to capture your gameplay you can use a game capture card, that will show you what it's recording on your pc. Or if you're trying to connect all of those to one monitor it's also possible
