I'm looking to connect my IP router to my new smart TV through the HDMI (HEC) cable that's already been run through a raceway. The router has only an Ethernet port and I don't want to have to take the raceway apart to run an Ethernet cable to the TV. Is there a simple converter or something where I can plug an ethernet line into the router, then into the converter's input and plug the HDMI cable leading to the TV plugged into the converter's output? Or? Open to suggestions including "No, you'll have to take the raceway apart and run an Ethernet line from router to TV"

Solution
While the 4.1 hdmi spec was supposed to allow 100Mbs ethernet to be able to be run over hdmi cables, it doesn't seem like any devices used this spec, and because of this I couldn't find any type of balun or injector that allows ethernet to be run over hdmi cable, although there probably is enough in the cabling to make it work.
