Question Connecting RTX2080 TI to Thunderbolt 2

I am considering to buy a RTX 2080TI, however my secondary monitor is an LG 34UM95 monitor with only 2 Thunderbolt 2 inputs available. What would be the best way to connect the GPU i.e. via which transfert cable from GPU to TB2

According to LG's website https://www.lg.com/uk/monitors/lg-34UM95 that monitor does have Displayport and HDMI inputs as well. You should be able to then use an HDMI or Displayport cable. Post pictures of the inputs on it if you can.

I suspect I did not make myself clear enough. The Displayport and HDM are already in use and connected to a Workstation and a Surface Pro, so my only free ports are the Thunderbolt2 ports.

Sorry about that, try a Displayport to Mini-Displayport cable. Thunderbolt 1 and 2 are physically the same as mini-displayport, and they do carry the displayport signal, it should work.
