Connecting Samsung LA40C650L1F to wifi

I can't seem to connect my Samsung LA40C650L1F to the wireless. It only has a "wired" option, but not wireless - any suggestions?
When I try to connect - it fails the gateway ping test

You need a Samsung Wireless LAN Adapter (WIS09ABGN) connected to the TV's USB port, or a standard wifi Ethernet bridge. Do you have one of those connected to the TV. Wifi connectivity is not native to this set.

You cannot use a standard USB wifi adapter on this TV.

Thanks BuddhaSkoota - I didn't realise I needed a special adapter! Will have to get one and then give it a go! Thanks again
