Hi, I want to connect a Samsung UA40D5000 PRXXM TV (with LAN port) to internet/LAN but my router is on a different floor.

How can I use another router (WRT54GL) to connect wirelessly to my network? I would like other devices to still connect to the main router SSID though.

Something roughly like this:

An existing router will only work if it has a CLIENT MODE, consult router's manual.

Also Samsung TV is been known to work on Samsung's brand WIFI adapters only, please verify.
I'm aware of the usb stick (not available anymore locally) and powerline but it's costlier than using an existing router, perhaps I should've mentioned earlier.

I dont mind spending time setting it up, just not sure what to set in the TV's IP/DNS settings, and whether the connected router has to be set to another mode to connect TV to LAN network through wifi.

I used a spare TL-WR702N in the end, which can be set to client mode. It works with Samsung Allshare/Serviio. The WRT54GL could work too if configured as wireless ethernet bridge. I've tried other generic USB adapters and it didnt work.
