Connecting SAS drive to gaming PC - Windows 10

Hello,

I purchased a 10TB SAS drive by mistake thinking it was a SATA drive for my gaming PC.

This is the drive: https://www.newegg.com/global/ie/Product/Product.aspx?Item=17Z-00AV-00001&nm_mc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel&cm_mmc=TEMC-RMA-Approvel-_-Content-_-text-_-

When I realized it was SAS I did some googling and found I could buy a SAS controller to connect via PCI Port.

So I bought this SAS controller: https://www.newegg.com/global/ie/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816101792

I also bought this cable to connect the drive to the new SAS controller: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008KF7H8U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Now that I've connected everything up there was a problem with the drivers for the card, so eventually I managed to install the proper drivers and the card is now showing as "Marvell 94xx SAS/SATA RAID Controller" under storage controllers in device manager. (still not 100% that I've even done that correctly but it says the device is running normally).

Now it is not showing the hard drive at all, not in devices and not in the partition software I have (AOMEI).

Is there something else I have to do to get this working?

Here is the motherboard just in case its needed: GIGABYTE X299 AORUS Gaming 7 (rev. 1.0) LGA 2066 Intel X299 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Intel

Thanks!

When you boot up, is there an option that appears, like press ctrl+m, to enter the adapters config utility?
Since it says its "jobd only", you may need to configure the drive there first.
