Question Connecting Second Monitor

Hey everyone,

I just purchased a new monitor. I plugged it into my second HDMI port which is on the top part of the computer. My main monitor is directly connected to the graphics card. The second monitor is not being detected. I have a AORUS Z390. How can I make this detected?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS.

What do you mean by "top part of the computer"? More information needed.

Have you gone into "WIN" + "P" to set up the desired display configuration?

Have you tried another known working HDMI cable between PC and second monitor?

Try physically switching the two monitors. Determine if the new monitor will work as if it were the original (first and only) monitor.
