[SOLVED] Connecting strimmer cable directly to PSU?

As the title says can I connect strimmer cable directly to PSU or do I have to connect it on top of 8+8 ping GPU cable. I don't want to increase the amount of cable. Hence will buy strimmer cable only if it can be connected directly to PSU.


PSU: Cooler master v850 V2
Strimmer: Lian Li strimmer cable with RGB.

You cannot. Modular power supply cables are proprietary on the side that goes into the PSU, so they would have to make a Strimer cable for every possible pinout. It's an extension cable.
