I am stuck in the process of a build using Fractal Design Meshify 2 XL + Ryzen 9 3900XT + RTX 3070 Aorus Master + Tuf Gaming X570 Pro Wi-Fi + Celsius S36. The manual indicates that the RGB cable should be connected to an ARGB port - but the cable has 3 sockets in a 1X11 setup - while the ARGG ports (they have 4 pins) seem to expect a 4 socket cable. Do I need some kind of adaptor ?

Regards
Sriram

Solution
See your mobo manual, p 1-16. The mobo header you are looking for is the ADD_GEN2 header near top front. Do NOT attempt to use either of the 4-pin plain RGB headers at the top and bottom edges - see p. 1-17.

ADD_GEN2 intends to mean a Generation 2 version of an Addressable RGB header (aka ARGB).
