I'm wanting to connect my PS3 to my monitor, but I'm a bit confused.

My monitor is an LG E2240S (this), and on the back I can see two cables, a VGA and a power cable. Those are also the only two slots on the back of the monitor. I was wondering what I'd need to connect a PS3. Adaptors, cable, all that sort of thing.

Thanks.

there is an officially licensed cable from sony for this

ps3 connector -> vga, 2x audio (not sure but i think they are audio)

i own a ps3 myself and i think the system came with a few cables such as this. i do remember that i had to buy my hdmi -> hdmi seperate.

if you dont have the cable i've seen it advertised for about $30 according to google.

if you want to research this further try doing a quick search for "ps3 to vga" on google. quite a few discussions on this with alot of feedback.
