Anybody know if it's possible to use 2 computers for screen recording (i.e. Fraps or Bandicam etc.)??? In other works, link the computers together such that one of the computer runs the game/simulation, while the other computer powers the recording software and records the video. The entire purpose being to eliminate massive frame rate loss you encounter when you begin recording. Could I possibly use a DVI splitter to get the image on the second computer monitor. And then use a audio output cable from one computer to the other for audio? (or a microphone itself for the audio?) Or is there another way? How can I accomplish this?

Well, what you can do is, have 2 computers, the gaming one and the recording one...
On the recording one, you have a game capture card, kinda like that avermedia that is PCI-e, then you get the HDMI cable from the gaming computer, and with a splitter, split one end into the recording computer, and the other end at the monitor, then you go and set the HDMI cable to output the game... and there you go, you are recording using 2 computers 🙂

Is this possible to do this with 2 laptops?

You can't add a capture card to a laptop. Perhaps with an external video card setup with thunderbolt, but that's expensive.
