Connecting two monitors to laptop

Hi there,
I am thinking to buy two Samsung monitors each having one HDMI and one VGA(15 pin D-SUb) ports. My laptop has only an HDMI port. So my question is can I connect the displays as below-
HDMI from laptop to HDMI for first monitor AND VGA from first monitor to VGA fro second monitor.
Will this work?
Will all the three monitors get connected?

nope, the vga ports on the monitor are input only. You can buy an usb video card but its pretty much just for business grahics.

Okay then how about this another monitor that has DVI, VGA and HDMI.
So can I connect HDMI from laptop to HDMI first monitor AND DVI from second to VGA in first?
