Connecting two VGA monitors to laptop

Hi all,

I have the X750JB Asus laptop with Intel HD graphics 4600 and GeForce GT 740M. I need to connect two monitors (extended not duplicate) which both have VGA sockets. Is this possible? If yes, which is the cheapest methods to use?

Looking at pictures, it looks like you have a VGA port and an HDMI port. You would have to get an active HDMI to VGA adapter like this -- http://www.amazon.com/Plugable-Active-Converter-Cable-Supporting/dp/B00H4J5B9U

You will have to read the user's manual for you laptop. The only way to be sure is probably to try it.

Many non-workstation laptops limit displays to two. Laptop screen and an external monitor, or two external monitors. Check your system specs or support for the vendor.
