Is there a way for me to reconnect my old Windows 98 PC to the internet through other ways other than through connecting it to my router or modem? I have an Asus N-13 wireless adapter, but I don't know if there's any way of making it work with the system. Or if there is a way to hook up my iPhone 4S as a dial-up connection. Any recommendations?

dwl-g132 by d-link works well with 98, or if its a laptop with a pc card slot you could look for a pc card wifi dongle

I have used WIFI cards in win9x systems before but most can not work with newer security methods meaning you leave your network vulnerable by having to use the older weaker setting... honestly the best way is to use a wired connection plugging into your router..

I use a TP-Link WR802N, or the slower TP-Link WR702N.
It delivers 300MBit (150MBit), and WPA2 security. No software or hardware to install on/in the laptop.
You connect it to the LAN of the Laptop, and power it via USB from the same laptop (so, 2 cables connected to the laptop).
It looks a bit weird at first, but works like a charm.
Highly recommended.

but will any of todays browsers work on that old os ??? with this 7 seems I dropped down to ie8 one time to test something and it kinda sucked and a lot of you need to use a updated browser to use this site kind thing ???

I don't know if I would expect much then I don't guess they even have any supported drivers as well maybe some still offering as far back as XP at most

maybe google some of that around ??

I use Opera 10.63., from about 2009/2010, which can still do most things, including flash and Java.
No browser on W9x is "safe", though, so ONLY use on sites you trust (and only so much, as affiliate-advertisments sometimes propagate malware even on popular sites).
To surf, i normally use Windows 10, which i have as a multi-boot option on my W9x machines.
