Connection Between you and your modem is broken, Limited Connection Ethernet

So for about two weeks I have been having this problem, and I have tried nearly everything, using all of my free time for the past to weeks trying to solve it, this morning I bought a new usb to Ethernet adapter and everything worked fine, for about four hours then it went back to the same problem, please help.

Reinstall your network drivers on your device, reboot, see if it helps.
If it doesn't: change the LAN port on your router, see if it helps.
If it doesn't: try to use a new ethernet cable.
If that doesn't help: contact your ISP to give you a new router.
If that doesn't help: Perform the ritual of exorcism

OK, what type of a connection are you using? Wired, check. But where is the ethernet cable connected? Motherboard RJ45, network card?

Using Wired with this thing http://www.netcommwireless.com/product/powerline/np508 and at first i was using the built in motherboard network card, it worked fine for a while, buoght a usb one today and still having same problem

I would guess that the problem is the line in your powerline system (the actual in-wall cables). Can you connect your PC to your router directly with a ethernet cable just to be sure that your hardware is working fine?

Bad router, call your ISP, request a new one
