connection dropping, everything freezing

everything will be fine for a couple hours after turning on my computer. then suddenly i'll lose connection, become unable to connect/disconnect from networks or enable/disable network adapters. whenever i try to open up something wi-fi related the window will just freeze. when i try to enable an adapter (if it lets me try) it will either say 'enabling...' forever or say 'enabled' but not actually enable anything. i have to restart my computer to fix this, but i have to force shut it down because if i just click shutdown or restart it will keep the spinning circle on the screen forever.

Could be corrupt files for the wireless. See if there are any updated drivers for it
