Connection not private

Google gives me this message and refuses to open Hotmail/Outlook. Internet Explorer has no problems. Why?

Could be a variety of reasons.

Just "look first" and see if you note what may be an applicable fix.

Likewise google "Google Connection not private email" for other possibilities.

Avoid software or immediate links that claim they will fix the problem. Be very careful about clicking any additional links within sites. They may really do something or go somewhere else other than what seems to be a nearby big lable - intentionally misleading. Watch the pop-up URLs, good clue if the URL is not what you would expect per the surrounding text.
