Hello all,

I would like to ask you for advice. I bought small ASUS monitor, shich have only one USB-c port.

I would like to use this monitor to connect to my mining rig, which have only HDMI / DVI connector.

Can you advice me, which adapter to use? I found a lot of adapters HDMI/USB-c, but for me it seems, that it is only to transfer picture from device like mobile phone (USB-c) to TV (HDMI). Correct me if I am wrong, but HDMI on my PC do not provide voltage to my ASUS monitor. Means PC (HDMI) to monitor (USB-C) will not work.

Is there a solution?

Thx.

Aah, I missed a bullet point on the Amazon link:
NO USB-C hub, USB-C docking station, or USB-C drive should be hooked up to the USB-C end of this product since this USB-C port only supports VIDEO OUTPUT.

The other one is also in the same boat.

If you can return the portable monitor, go do that instead. There are other portable monitors that can accept a separate HDMI or DP signal.
