[SOLVED] Connectiong Corsair fans RGB

Hey sorry if this is posted in the wrong place,

Basically i bought these fans Corsair iCUE SP120 RGB ELITE Performance 120 mm PWM Single Fan (CORSAIR AirGuide Technology, Eight Addressable RGB LEDs, Low-Noise 18 dBA, PWM-Controlled, Up to 1,500 RPM & 47.7 CFM) Black - Corsair (amazon.co.uk)
then i bought Corsair RGB LED Fan Hub Controller - Black - Amazon.co.uk thinking i just need to connect the rgb cable from the fans into this and it would work. But seemingly not. I am pretty new to this sort of thing, so if anyone could give me so direction on what im doing wrong, or what i need to get to get the RGB on the fans working, that would be great.

Corsair RGB LED Fan Hub Controller

this is not an RGB controller.
only an add-on for more LED devices to connect to a Corsair Lightning Node or similar.
it should state in the product description what else is required.
