Connector cable help! ASAP!!

Hey i just bought a MSI GTX 1060 6GB and i noticed it has an 8 pin connecter on the side of it, my current gpu is an n/a and doesnt require cords, will i need to buy a connecter for this? will it come in the box?

the adapter would be a new PSU. the GPU may have a 6 pin to 6+2 pin adapter, but you will still need enough wattage from the PSU and a 6 pin plug available.
which PSU do you have? model? make?

That PSU has two 6+2 connectors. You can use either one of them.

they are the third and fourth cables on the top row, they are for the PCIe cards. they have a 6+2 pin each making the 8 pins the card will require
