I'm going to be putting together an i5 build and will be overclocking and using a hyper 212 CPU cooler.

3 cases i like
HAF 922
NZXT Tempest
Antec 900

I'm a first time builder so i would like something easy to work with, would these all be solid choices?

I've got the HAF 932, and couldn't be happier with it. The 922 is a smaller version of it. Very nice case. Great cooling, watercooling resevoir, great cable management.

I just did a build for a client using the Antec 900. It's not overly cramped. It's got good cooling. However, it did feel a little flimsy.

I don't have any experience with the NZXT.

I am a fan of Antec cases myself but the HAF is also quite good. I have never used a Tempest so cant really give you an opinion there.

I've read that the Antec 900, while a quality case, can be a little cramped and cable management can be difficult. So far the only Antec cases I've bought were Sonata II's, which are very solidly built and quiet, but don't have great cooling. I'm considering an Antec 200 for the hot-swap SATA port and apparently excellent cooling.
OTOH, the HAF 922 should be roomy and easy to work in, however my experience with every CM case I ever bought was that they all had minor (fixable) quality issues like untapped screw holes or misaligned panels.
I've not bought anything from NZXT.

I recommend you HAF 922(amazing airflow, great for cable management, lots of space for components),but for this money little save and buy HAF 932(this case its dream for every PC builder)

I have the HAF 932. It contains my older pc system which I now use as an emergency back-up. The HAF 932 is a huge beast. Lots of room for longer video cards and tall tower style cpu heatsinks. Plenty of extra room. Cable management is very good. Ventilation, airflow, and cooling are excellent.

I like your zeal.

Though, I don't think I would call the HAF 932 a 'dream case.' It's an excellent case for the price. There are certainly some cases with more features.

I feel your pain.... :D

I take my Antec 1200 to LAN parties and it is heavy, as well!! I keep planning on building me a secondary PC for my LAN party days but just can't convince the Wife :pt1cable:  "Our soon to be 2 year old needs a PC" just doesn't work for the Wife... [:mousemonkey:5]
