Hey guys so currently I'm in the market for something simple, just a 1080p monitor(maybe 1440p) but I wanted to look at ASUS again because currently (my second monitor) the VE228H has lasted me so long and I feel inclined to buy another ASUS product due to it longevity. I was looking at a lot of the 27" ones and noticed some that catched my eye. I realize now that a lot of monitors use the whole new Eyecare stuff and was very interested in that. I wouldn't mind going for a 1440p monitor at this point so I will include a couple picks that I found attractive.
ASUS Designo MX279H (no DP but less blue light)
ASUS Designo MX27AQ(1440p; not sure if I should go 25" or 27")
ASUS PB277Q (1440p; 27")
ASUS VN279QL (with stand)
ASUS VX24AH (1440p but 23.8")
So far these are the picks that I found most intriguing to me. Currently my rig is a i5-2500k, 8GB, GTX660 (I plan to upgrade all of this eventually). Not really looking to game at 1440p but rather just to have it for futureproofing and just in case I manage a crazy GPU later on. I'm just looking for a good monitor for now until the whole cryptocurrency with the GPUs marks them down in price. What would you guys recommend and which size is good for 1440p respectively? Thanks!
