Considering Building 1st PC

I'm considering making my own PC for the first time over the next few weeks, I would appreciate if you could look over this parts list and point out any obvious errors / questionable decisions.

Mainly want this for 1080p gaming and less intensive tasks with slight future proofing (considering getting a 144hz monitor some time later). I still have a 1TB hard drive on my laptop so I don't think I'll need more than a reasonable SSD (256GB-ish minimum)

Budget is somewhat flexible but £800 + OS price seems about what I'm willing to spend but don't want to be spending more money on redundant components.(I'm from UK, not sure what components would cost in US)

Another couple changes to consider are: 500GB SSD(it is the sweet spot for SSD price per storage and 240GB will fill up fast)

You also might want to consider buying the Ryzen 2700, the new 2nd gen Ryzens offer better single core performance for gaming if that is something you are going to do.

Ryzen would do better with 2x 4GB sticks of RAM so it'll use dual channel mode. Also if you can afford to step up to maybe 2666Mhz that'll help but not required. Otherwise to me it seems like a solid starter build with plenty of upgrade opportunities.

Decent build but:

1. Cheaper B350 motherboard will do no harm.

2. Dual Channel RAM at 3000 Mhz is the minimum for Ryzen for optimal performance.

3. PSU is pretty decent but for the price you can do better.

Same price but better and faster RAM and better quality PSU.
