ok so i have a Geforece gt 730 witch is the 2048 mb ddr3 version from pny i know its a low end card but its all i can afford at the moment. so with that being said id like to overclock it but i have some concerns i have read that some people have had success with doing so with this card; but i worry my psu cant handle it. its a max 300 w psu and my new GPU draws a very low 23 watts. i do keep my machine clean and well ventilated but it is older and so is my psu so would i be safe doing so or am i putting my psu at to much of a risk. if any other information is needed just let me know il be standing by thank you!

It's hard to find info on that particular card, as it is not very popular for tech web sites. But theoretically it should overclock some. I am not an overclocking pro, but I would increase the power draw by ~5%, and the core clock by about the same. If that works without issue for a month or so, maybe go for another 5% and then stop. You should see about 7%-10% increase with a 10% OC.

With a low power card, small OCs are usually safe, but run some tests in whatever games you are playing.

MSI afterburner is generally considered the gold standard for OC software, so use that. Also it watches temperatures and fan speeds, so make sure after any OC you don't get temps too high. Below 70 is very safe.

Finally don't expect too much from an OC. You won't get more than a 10% increase. Best of luck and turn the OC down if you experience any problems.
