Considering upgrade not sure if worth?

I was considering getting an upgrade on my cpu, but its not a massive upgrade, so i was questioning if it would even be worth it. I currently have a AMD FX-4350 and was considering upgrading to a AMD FX-8350. My 4350 is about 3 years old and probably slowing down because of it. I also have a r9 290x so the 4350 is bottlenecking the 290x a lot, so I was hoping that an upgrade to 8350 could hopefully make a noticeable fps boost. Anyone know if it would be worth it? Any insight would be great!

You will see large improvement if you upgrade to FX 8-core. But there are many issues with your motherboard, because it has only 4 power phase and it overheats a lot. In stress tests the CPU underclocks to 1.4 GHz. I will suggest you to get FX 8320E or FX 8370E, good processor cooler, VRM heatsinks and be sure you have good airflow in your case.
