Thanks so much this is awsome. The pc hasn’t really been played that much he’s just trying to sell it. I just need to find a decent price ponit. If not I should probably just build it new.

1. Expensive. As USAFRET showed above, you can buy it new for less money.
2. Not ideal gpu for gaming. GTX1060s are fine for 1080p games, but don't belong in this costly of a PC.
3. Not ideal CPU for gaming. The TR1950x can game, but it is designed for workstation applications like blender, so gaming performance will be exceeded by inexpensive CPUs like a Ryzen 5 2600 for $120.
4. Ram is slow for Ryzen threadripper and 2400mhz will hurt gaming performance.

Something brand new with warranty would be better all around. Way, way better for almost any task.

Add in windows cost, your at the same cost as the used PC.

Yeah, as noted, this is odd for a gaming build. It's more of a pro-am workstation build suitable for moderate gaming at 1080p. Which is fine if that's what you're trying to do.

As a $2000 gaming build, even new, it's pretty awful. a Threadripper but also slow RAM and a 1060 3 GB for two grand? A $1000 build with a Ryzen 3600 and a better GPU would be a better gamer than this one. If you're spending $2000, something along the line of Nighthawk's build is much superior.

For the money, something like the build NightHawkRMX listed would be a better option. To put it in perspective, an RTX 2080 SUPER graphics card should be well over twice as fast as a GTX 1060. That card would probably be rather overkill for esports titles like DOTA 2 and Starcraft though, and even for the most graphically demanding games if you are at a moderate resolution like 1080p, so spending significantly less money on a graphics card could also be an option. You can get cards for hundreds of dollars less that will still be significantly faster than a GTX 1060.
