Consistant improper shutdown/boot, fresh windows, multiple hard drive failures.

Hello, for some time I've been having what is seemingly hardware issues with my build.

Most commonly, whenever my computer is shutdown and booted up, I always receive an error message from windows. I will be sure to include dumps lateron, secondly I have had my os SSD out of nowhere lose its ability to boot after what seemingly was a normal shutdown, non forced. The blue screen reads as:

"Boot configuration data file is missing some required information"
File:\ BCD
Error code: 0xc0000034

--After this has happened, twice now.. I have secure erased the drive and reloaded a fresh install of windows 8. which is just what I have on my usb drive.

Still with a fresh install, I receive errors after booting up. This isn't just basic windows 8 too, both times I have had all the windows updates performed, as well as 8.1 installed afterwards.

I have two power supplies I've swapped out, both with no changes in performance or stability.

Other weird things as well, time has changed a few times, i've walked in on my computer powered on after I shut it off.

Makes me think its a motherboard issue, but then again, I really don't know. Just looking for some help, and any is appreciated, thanks.

If your SSD has been giving you issue, then I would say it is an SSD problem.

That motherboard....everyone seems to be having issues with it LOL. I would replace that motherboard as well. First things first, use your HDD for your OS and see if it still has issues. If that doesn't work, then replace the motherboard.
