Hello. As the title suggests, I'm primarily a console gamer but am interested in buying a decent PC. It doesn't have to be a MONSTER of a machine capable of running everything on ultra settings, but I would like it to be beefy enough to handle the current crop of games, as well as the titles coming out in the near future without having to worry about upgrading.

I have no knowledge of PC building, nor am I interested in doing so; I only would like someone with a bit of expertise to advise me on whether or not the machine I'm considering buying is good enough to fit my needs. Below is the link to the system I'm considering on Microcenter's website. Thanks much for your consideration.

That's a good pretty good deal. Microcenter is my brick and mortar store of choice. The most important question to ask is the make/model of the PSU on this model.

Thank you guys, your advice is a huge help. I'm tempted to order all those individual parts one of you has linked above and have someone build it for me - but with my limited knowledge of tech it's better if I just buy a pre-built system from a reputable seller. I think I'll save myself a bit of headache down the line.

Thank you all very much, again.

You mentioned Microcenter. If you have one nearby go in and show them that list. My local ones the guys are usually good about helping you pick stuff out. As I said, I think the store will assemble it for a fee. Just an option if you can’t find another system you want.
