I built a PC and now Win 10 blue screens randomly. There is nothing that I do consistently to cause the system to fail. When I go into event viewer I have critical error of AppModal-Runtime event id 79 as well as various errors.

I am not sure how to fix it. I could use some help. Please let me know what else you need. Some PC specs are below.

Solution
Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors.

What PSU do you have?

Its not that simple, Kernel event 41 (63) is a reaction, not a cause.
When windows starts, it runs a report. If it finds the previous shutdown wasn't normal it creates Event 41.
Windows doesn't know why it restarted

Event viewer will always have errors, even in perfectly working systems. 99% of them can be ignored.

So are you getting BSOD or just restarts?

Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

copy that file to documents
upload the copy from documents to a file sharing web site, and share the link in your thread so we can help fix the problem

There is a BIOS update available for your system. You are using version 1.7 and the latest is version 3.2. There are special upgrade instructions for this update. Wait for additional information before deciding to update or not. Important: Verify that I have linked to the correct motherboard. Updating your BIOS can be risky. Never try it when you might lose power (lightning storms, recent power outages, etc).

This information can be used by others to help you. I can't help you with this. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.
