Hello, recently my computer has been giving me BSOD's every time I start it up. The BSOD only stays up for a second where the error is PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED, I am taken to a screen where I can either start a repair or start Windows normally. The second option leads back to the BSOD, creating an endless cycle while the system repair fixes the problem but only by doing a system restore each time. This means any files I have recently added are always deleted when the system works again. So, I am able to get past the BSOD and onto the desktop but only at the expense of having to do a system restore. I have never encountered such a problem on this computer. What can I do to stop this BSOD?
I am running Windows 7 SP1 64-bit. I already tried deleting "bootcat.cache" but that did not solve the issue.
