Hi,
Earlier today I decided to overclock my RAM using Ryzen Master. Very stupidly, I set the frequency to 2300Mhz, which of course translates to 4600Mhz for DDR, which is way above the advertised frequency of my RAM kit which is 3000Mhz. Immediately afterwards, I could see on my motherboard that there was a DRAM issue. I then cleared the CMOS, and I was able to boot and get into Windows. However, I keep getting BSODs with the error message CRITICAL_SERVICE_DIED. I can get into BIOS. I have cleared the CMOS (twice) and loaded with optimized defaults. My motherboard has lights indicating hardware faults, and none of them are lit. Do you guys have any idea what I can do to fix this? If I fried my RAM, would I be able to boot at all?
These are my specs:
MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX
Ryzen 5 3600
RX 5700
Crucial MX500 500GB SSD
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000Mhz RAM
Seasonic Focus+ Gold 650W PSU
NZXT H500
