Hello,
For quite a few months now whenever I play certain games, my PC blue screens with the following error codes:
  • UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION
  • CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED
  • SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
It's really inconsistent with how fast it crashes, sometimes it will blue screen every 10 minutes (sometimes up to 20+ times per day), and then sometimes it wont blue screen at all for 2 weeks, and it only occurs when I play certain games as some games won't crash it and some will.

Here is the list of things I have done to try to fix it:
  • Re-installed Rust, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Cities Skylines and the other games that cause the crashing
  • Verified the games' files
  • Re-installed the Rust's anti-cheat software (EasyAntiCheat)
  • Moved the games to a different drive
  • Ran memtest86 which came back fine
  • Ran sfc /scannow which did find and replace some corrupted system files, however the issue still occurred
  • Ran DISM
  • Ran the driver verifier which did bluescreen when I started my PC with: DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECED_VIOLATION. I had to restore to a backup after this as Windows wouldn't start
  • Ran chdsk
  • Ran an anti-virus scan which came back clean
  • Reinstalled the entire operating system
  • Re-seated the RAM (at least 15+ times)
  • Bought new RAM a few months ago which fixed the issue for about a month and then it started happening again
  • Re-seated the GPU (at least 5+ times)
  • Re-seated the SSD
  • Re-seated the CPU and applied new thermal paste (which fixed the issue for about 2 weeks and then it started happening again)
  • Re-built the entire PC
  • Used a different power cable

I have monitored the temperatures whilst playing games, and everything seems normal.

Here are my PC's specs:
  • CPU: i5-9600k 3.7GHz - 1 1/2 years old
  • GPU: RTX 2060 6GB - 3 1/2 years old
  • RAM: 32GB DDR4 2666MHz - 2 months old
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte B365M DS3H - 1 1/2 years old
  • Storage: 1x M.2 NVME SSD (500 GB, 3 years old, Windows drive), 2x SATA HDDs (2TB, 3 years old and 500GB, 4+ years old)
  • Operating System: Windows 11 Pro version 22H2 - Installed in March 2023
  • PSU: KL-C600 600W - 3 years old
  • Case: Thermaltake Core P3 Snow Edition - 4 months old
  • Monitors: BenQ MOBIUZ EX2710 (144Hz, primary, 1 year old), AOC 215LM00056 (60Hz, secondary, 5 years old)
Another thing I would like to add is that every time it blue screens, absolutely no minidump is created even though my settings for generating them are correct.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

CPU: i5-9600k 3.7GHz - 1 1/2 years old
How are you cooling that processor?

Re-installed the Rust's anti-cheat software (EasyAntiCheat)
Does uninstalling this app cause the system to regain functionality?

Motherboard: Gigabyte B365M DS3H
What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

Operating System: Windows 11 Pro version 22H2
Where did you source the installer for the OS?

RAM: 32GB DDR4 2666MHz - 2 months old
Can you pass on a link to the ram used for your build?

Storage: 1x M.2 NVME SSD (500 GB, 3 years old, Windows drive), 2x SATA HDDs (2TB, 3 years old and 500GB, 4+ years old)
Make and models of the storage in your build?

Hey, thanks for the response.
Here is the answer to your questions:

How are you cooling that processor?
It is air cooled using the Cooler Master Hyper H412R fan.

Does uninstalling this app cause the system to regain functionality?
The issue only occurs when I am in game, and due to EasyAntiCheat being an anticheat, I can't play the game without launching it. The issue also occurs on other games that don't use EasyAntiCheat.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?
I used
Code:
wmic bios get smbiosbiosversion
in CMD and it returned F5.

Where did you source the installer for the OS?
I upgraded to Windows 11 from the free upgrade from Windows 10

Can you pass on a link to the ram used for your build?
Here is the Amazon link.

Make and models of the storage in your build?
The SSD is a: Western Digital WDS500G2X0C
The 2TB HDD is a: Western Digital WD5000AVDS-63U7B1
The 500GB is a: Toshiba HDWD120
