Issue: Constantly getting BSODs randomly, whether I’m just booting up, watching YouTube, or gaming.
Error message: Page_Fault_In_Nonpaged_Area
Code: 0x00000050
Caused by Driver: ntoskrnl.exe
TL DR: I’ve done everything one can suggest to rid the BSODs with no success. I would deeply appreciate it if someone can look at my dump files in the windows debugger and use the debugger command to let me know what the root cause is as that’s all beyond me.

Now for the long part:
Typically when I install Windows, my system runs like a well-oiled machine and rarely ever has any issues much less BSODs. The last time I got Blue Screens of Deaths was when I was trying to find the best overclock for my Xeon CPU. (I'm a fan of Tech Yes City)
However, ever since installing Windows 10, I’ve been getting them at a regular rate of at least once a day. Until just recently, I was getting them MORE frequently like 5 times in 30 minutes. According to BlueScreenView and the EXHAUSTIVE research I’ve done looking into this, the code 0x00000050 relates to memory. Whether it be RAM, GPU, and L2 RAM cache on the CPU.
Up until recently, I was using Windows 7 exclusively but for various reasons I’ve had to use Windows 10 more and more. Ever since installing Windows 10, I’ve also started experiencing problems including BSODs when using Windows 7 when it never ever had problems prior to the installation of Windows 10.
Here’s everything I’ve done and what is asked of when trying to resolve a BSOD that won’t go away:
- My BIOS and drivers are up to date. I’ve also ran Driver Verifier and nothing.
- I’ve tried turning off Virtual Memory’s Automatically Manage Paging File Size. (Tried both custom size and no paging file, still getting BSODs)
- I’ve used MemTest86 / MemTest86+ and ran numerous overnight tests with at least 8 passes on my RAM with no errors found, along with MemTest64 and Windows’ own Memory Diagnostic Tool, all coming out clean.
- I’ve tested my SSD with HD Tune and no errors were found, along with HDD Sentinel showing no errors too. Running Chkdsk in various forms and sfc / scannow. Previously, Windows 10 was on a separate mechanical drive and I was getting the same issues that spilled over onto the SSD.
- I used Intel's tool to test my CPU and no errors were found.
- I’ve swapped out my GPU with a spare GPU and still got a BSOD with the same errors, along with switching PCI slots. I also used the DDU method of reinstalling my GPU drivers to no success.
- I’ve done clean installs of Windows 10 and got a BSOD just several hours later.
- I’ve done pretty much everything under the sun I can think of to try and stop the BSODs with no success and I’m at my wits end.
The only thing that seemed to have stop the BSOD is reducing the overclock’s BCLK from 200 to 195. Though I did NOT have this issue until installing Windows 10. I have a friend who has a similar X58/ Xeon setup and he's not having any issues.
I would really appreciate it if someone can look at my dump files and tell me what the in the blue **** is going on with my system.
