Hello there,
So yesterday I was looking in the event viewer for something else and I happened to notice that a constant error was happening every hour or so- "svchost (6932,R,98) TILEREPOSITORYS-1-5-18: Error -1023 (0xfffffc01) occurred while opening logfile C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer\Database\EDB.log.". I had reinstalled Windows a few days ago after the newest 'big' update had caused it to get stuck when loading onto the OS and I had never noticed this error before.

Judging by the file location the error is occurring, it does sound important but I was wondering if it is something that means I should really reinstall Windows again? I'm not entirely sure so I thought I'd ask here.

TIA :)

Could be because that folder no longer exists

The TitleDataLayer was removed in 1709 and was replaced with the TileStore

It seems its a known problem in 1903 - https://www.tenforums.com/performan...id-455-since-upgrading-v1903-18362-116-a.html

I would just ignore it, 99% of the errors in event viewer can be ignored. Only look there if you having a problem.

Thankyou :) I just had never seen it before. There's a lot of errors that I do ignore but because it was in the system files I wasn't entirely sure whether to ignore it or not.
