Question Constant frame drops with Radeon RX 580

Just upgraded my graphics card to Radeon RX 580 8GB from Radeon R9 380 4GB. I'm still getting constant frame drops on simple games like Dead By Daylight and Overwatch. Frame drops even when running settings lower than high. Here's my setup:

• Radeon RX 580 8GB
• CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 @ 3.20 GHZ 4 Cores
• 16GB Ram
• Motherboard: MSI B150 Gaming M3 (MS-7978)

Drivers are all updated. Just not sure if the CPU is the next culprit. Any suggestions on what I should try next?

Which power supply are you using?
Have you tried properly uninstalling your GPU driver using DDU first? Old files might be causing corruptions.

When was the last time you've tried a fresh Windows install?
Have you monitored your CPU/GPU temps and make sure they aren't running really hot?

Try what's said above, but I think the cpu may be holding you back slightly.
