Constant lag present when playing games but otherwise stable internet connection....

Hello everyone.

I have pretty decent internet as you can see in the picture below. When browsing or downloading i have no problems with the connection or speed of my internet. However whenever i start up a game i am having constant lag/ping. The first day i moved into my new house it was perfect but for the next week it's been like that without change. I have asked around in other forums and i was told the problem is coming from my router but since i known nothing about internet connections as a whole i can't do anything about it. So far i've been told my router doesn't respond to some sort of echo requests. Which i don't know what that is. I have run a few test, suggested to me by others and i shall post the results here as well.

If anyone has some sort of fix to my problem please share.

Also an option where i can connect my laptop to the router is not possible unfortunately

I understand that you may not be able to keep the laptop plugged into the router, but can you at least do it for a quick test? What kind of wiireless tech does the laptop offer? and the router? Do you have a console? Does it have problems gaming?

what do you mean by wireless tech offered by the laptop? be more specific please as i am not knowledgeable in this area at all. I may be able to do a quick test but i won't be able to do it now, maybe later and i will post the results tomorrow.
ANd no, no consoles unfortunately .

what tests would you like to see when i get the chance though?

Mostly just run your games and see if the problem persist. If the problem disappears then we know it's a wireless problem. I've had a few games that just didn't like being on a wireless connection.
