For a while back, I had a GPU issue. PC keeps on restarting. It appears that my GPU was overheating. Changed GPU and PC had no issues. 2 days ago, PC again was constantly restarting. Ruled out everything. Tried also everything on another unit. For 2 days I tried everything in my knowledge to locate the issue. But when I removed my CMOS battery and replaced it in after a few seconds, PC now I "think" is fixed. The question is, how did that fix my issue? Or can that be really a part of some troubleshooting steps?
