Greetings everyone.

I hope to get some help here. And if that doesn't work, I guess I need to take my new PC to the repair guys.

So, I have had this brand new, pretty expensive PC for about 2 months or less now. And for about 2-3 days I have experienced that whenever I enter a game that is online the ping/ms sky-rockets. I have tried on a big game such as Modern Warfare (the new one), and a very small and tiny online game called Brawlhalla. These games are from two different platforms.. (Battlenet & Steam). Whenever I start either of these games my ping immediately sky-rockets to 1500+ ping. And as soon as I close the game, the ping goes down to 25 ms. (Checked with cmd, where I ping 8.8.8.8 -t), and there is clear evidence that whenever I start these games, my internet almost just gives up on me.

I hope anyone of you can help me.

My ISP provider is named Stofa (Danish company).
The PC specs are here: https://prnt.sc/t3jhgm
The name of the wireless internet card I use is: ASUS PCE-AC51 (which can be seen in the picture, since its highlighted)

Solution
Asus cards are in general pretty high quality devices but like any company they get defective hardware.

Before you go buying stuff I would first test using ethernet even if that mean temporary moving the pc. You could also try the wifi close to the router. Make sure you have the latest drivers from either asus or the chipset vendor. Be sure microsoft has not loaded generic ones.

Be sure to test using actual ping commands. You want to ping a IP like 8.8.8.8 and your router IP. Problems to the router IP mean it is not the internet. You have to be careful about so called ping numbers form games since many times if the game is busy say processing video it will blame delays on the network. Real problems should also show...
First of all simply using wifi means you're bound to have ping spikes regardless of whatever specs/ISP you have.
your problem is from the ISP side. You need to call them and tell them your problem or ask someone to come and check out from your end if they cant find what's wrong from theirs. That's the only solution I'd say.
Problem could also be your internet card so try gaming on a different system and see if the ping spikes go way FIRST

Of course, running WIFI makes it inevitable to have some problems, but this pattern is way too obvious.

I'll try to play whatever game I can on my Mac laptop.

And thank you for the answer. If there's no issue on the laptop, I guess I am in trouble and will have to look for a new internet card, I suppose? (Its even pretty expensive, this one that I have right now.)

Real problems should also show in the ping if you were for example to download from steam and ping. Be sure to set steam to not use all your bandwidth, in fact set it for maybe 10% since games use less than 1mbps.
