Constant SSD problems, tried everything

I've had so many problems with my SSD, I don't know where to start.

I bought it around June, installed Windows, and shelved it for a couple weeks until the rest of my PC parts arrived. Ever since I started using it I've been getting constant data inpage BSOD, f4 stops, and critical object terminations.

I've tried both 6.0(?) SATA ports; same thing. I've tried each of the other 3.0 SATA ports, same thing. I try a HEALTHY drive, no BSOD. I hope this rules out the motherboard. I've also tried a different SATA cable, same thing. I've updated all my drivers so many times, I've turned off power off hard disk, I've updated my BIOS, etc.

Some specific symptoms:
Will BSOD while in sleep mode (not waking up or going into)
Will BSOD while sitting at the login screen.

8GB RAM w/ 970 SC
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO
OS: W7
MB: Z97S SLI Krait

It's getting really frustrating, I'll be coming up on a month of this issue and nothing resolving it. I think I need a new SSD.

You installed windows before you put your computer together? That sounds like the problem right there.

I did, but I've since reinstalled a few times. Does it make a difference if I reinstall? Could the residuals be on the drive still ?

Best thing to do is firmware update the drive then secure erase it and reinstall windows from scratch.
