I notice that pre orders are now being taken from the 6th Jan PST.

Has anyone got a good website / links / resources for system requirements and benchmarks ?

I'm thinking about getting one when they are released here in the UK.

i have 4770k @ 4.4 / 980 ti - im a little confused if it's enough horsepower to really enjoy it.

The requirements to run a Rift are as follows:
NVIDIA GTX 970 / AMD 290 equivalent or greater
Intel i5-4590 equivalent or greater
8GB+ RAM

Thanks Nekrosys, i should have been more specific;

i understand the minimum spec is a GTX 970. What fps does the rift run at? are there any benchmark sites solely focused on the previous developer kits which have posted fps / gpu / cpu benchmarks ? what is optimal rift fps ?

just looking for some more indepth info than minumum specs.

As far as I'm aware the Rift will be running at ~75FPS. I couldn't find any benchmarks for specific games though.
