Contacts in cloud

Don't know how to retrieve contacts from cloud really don't know much about cell phones

Need some better details, how exactly where they saved? Should be as simple as logging on to whatever account you had the contacts saved to. I try to keep all mine in my Google account, swapped phones 3 times, log on to your Google account during phone setup, contacts all get downloaded to phone.
