Hi, I bought a prebuilt PC a around 8months ago and it's performance (via userbenchmark) have continiously gotten worse and worse; Is this to be expected? My specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X,
GPU: AMD RX 5700XT 50th Anniversary,
Drive: Adata SU630 960GB,
Memory: Corsair CM4X8GF2400Z16K4 2x8GB

I clean my PC by hand every couple months without compressed air but have some arriving tomorrow, It may help? My benchmarks are displayed below:

Oldest: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/22892320 [Gaming: 96% - Nuclear submarine, Desktop 90%, Workstation: 99%]
unknown.png

Newest: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/31470157 [Gaming: 87% - Aircraft carrier, Desktop: 86%, Workstation: 92% ]
unknown.png

(Others displayed at end of post)

And finally if this is to be expected, what can I do to improve the performance, aside overclocking?
Appreciate any help or advice, my other benchmarks are:

Solution
The ONE device dragging that report down is your SSD.
It is too full.
59GB free on a 960GB drive is not enough.

All the other parts are almost identical between old and new.

  1. userbenchmark is a poor tool.
  2. 100GB free is STILL not enough free space.
For a 960GB drive, you need to keep the actual consumption below 800GB.
What tool would you recommend and what's wrong with userbenchmark?
Ah that's a big shame - I do a lot of game development so handle big files a lot.
I also love rockstar games which are often over 100GB each.

UBM is poor because it gives no context. "Way below expectation"...

Below what? Other systems that have been stripped down, overclocked, and optimized for that particular test.

As far as big files and game sizes...you simply need more drive space.
Windows and applications, incl Steam/Origin, have gotten really good at managing multiple drives and drive letters.
My system has 7 internal drives. No problems.

Thank you, removed around 100GB more and improved everything - including cleansing my soul.
This thread is somewhat linked to this one as I thought maybe my components were getting worse over time causing the issue. If you could check it out, I'd greatly appreciate it!
